Hand crafted using only the finest fabrics Souraya sources speciality fabrics and trims from all around the world ensuring each design is a perfect reflection of who you are, what you love and brings out your natural beauty! Souraya Chidiac, head designer at Souraya, brings a much needed and refreshing new attitude to the Australian bridal and eveningwear scene.

“Classic Elegance with that little bit of a modern twist” this is how one would describe the gowns that Souraya designs and makes. Souraya likes to take inspiration from the original couturiers of the early days and enjoys adding detail that is very glamorous and eveningwear inspired. No two people are the same and therefore each one design we create is completely different to the next.

Souraya believes that every woman should be treated based on her own needs. “Not every woman suits the standard styles and sizes available, especially in the bridal and evening that is available today.”

Souraya likes to take the time to sit with each individual woman and discuss exactly what you are after. What sort of colours and fabrics do you prefer? And what sort of detail do you love? Together with you Souraya asks lots of questions, creates lots of concept sketches and goes through a wide range of fabric and trim samples to come up with a completely unique design that you are truly in love with.

The team at Souraya have been carefully hand picked to help bring to life your dream gown. Each one holds the same perfectionist values and a true love for design – which is clear in each and every one of our gowns.
